This move to three-hand versions of what used to be chronographs seems to be a recurring theme at Breitling. Watches like the Chronomat and the Navitimer have already undergone the same process. link This allows the brand to transfer the beloved aesthetics to smaller cases and introduce them with cleaner dials. Let's see how the designers did that in the case of the new Breitling Top Time B31.All versions have a beautiful shaped case with a 40mm diameter. A tad bit bigger than the 35mm of the original, but let's face it, 35mm is indeed quite small for a contemporary dress watch in 2018.Most importantly, I'm there for my best friend's wedding, not there to steal the show. The Nomos does so well in that regard, being a well-made and elegant watch that blends into the background when you need it to.
